'Paint Shop Pro for DesignaKnit' by Diane Bennett is a book and CD which includes all you need to know to use this excellent software to prepare images for conversion with DKnit 6 or 7. The contents are:-

Basics - Toolbar, Colour palette, Toolbox, Tool options, Menu, Image Info
The tools, including paintbrush, airbrush., flood fill and preset shapes
Working with files - opening and saving, using the browser, converting files, scanners and cameras
Selections - making selections, using selections
Image Size - importance of size, zooming, resizing and cropping a picture
Reducing Colours - the method and hints and tips
Effects - basic and other filters, using plugins
Patterns and Outlines - custom brush, picture tubes, pattern fills, seamless patterns, outlines and colour enhancing

The book is reproduced on the CD, with versions for PSP 6 and 7 - so that you have the choice of browsing the book or using the CD on the computer. This makes it possible to include much larger illustrations than in the book, and extra sections of useful information:-
